MONITORING AND DECISION – MAKING SUPPORT SYSTEM

JSC “Nacionalinis švietimo centras” is implementing the project “Monitoring and decision-making support on this topic, dedicated to the efficiency of the teaching and learning process” implemented with the funds of the European Regional Development Fund. The project is co-financed by the European Union Structural Funds measure “Experiment”.

JSC “Nacionalinis švietimo centras” is one of the largest companies in Lithuania, developing and implementing integrated education information systems.

The main activities and products of the company:

My technology system based on cloud technologies. This system is a closed type social network and is used by more than 600 primary, vocational, secondary schools, kindergartens.

The main problem to be solved during the project implementation is the lack of knowledge of applied research and experimental development related to the models of student learning and teacher training activities in the field of general education in order to make the teaching and learning process more efficient.

The project envisages applied research (development of applied algorithms based on existing basic algorithms) and experimental development in the interface between educology and data science in order to create a monitoring and decision-making system to improve the efficiency of the learning process.

The expected result of the project is the development of a monitoring and decision-making system for the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process.

The project is implemented with a partner – Vytautas Magnus University.

End of project implementation on August 4, 2022

The total value of the project is EUR 784,373.05.

EUR 523,884.64 was allocated from the European Regional Development Fund for the implementation of the project.
